Our Nationwide Warranty

OUR NATIONWIDE WARRANTY

Everything we do is guaranteed for 12 months, 12,000 miles, with a few notable exceptions:

• Used parts warranties are limited, usually 90 days to 1 year depending on the supplier, and
• If the vehicle has continued to be properly maintained and has not been abused, and
• If the repair we originally recommended was paid for

Repairs can be arranged outside of our local area through the nationwide coverage offered by AAA and NAPA AutoCare.

We tend to be more generous in our warranty for our regular customers, often extending the parts warranty much longer. We can only offer this type of warranty locally, however.

Smith Specialty Automotive, also known as Specialty Automotive, Ltd, was started to provide professional diagnostic service and repair and to serve the customer's needs at an affordable price. This philosophy is a bit reversed from most auto repair shops, as they are usually tailored more to meet the needs of the technicians working there.

Our goal is to make your transportation expenses as reasonable as possible while keeping our customers free from the inconvenience of breakdowns.

We strive to never recommend unneeded services. We tailor our recommendations to the way the vehicle is used, not blindly recommending services according to an arbitrary schedule.

• When Bob Bench, long-time owner of Johnson County Auto Repair of Olathe retired in 2005, he entrusted his clients to us to take care of any warranty problems. Through this opportunity to serve and build relationships with a new clientele, many of Bob's customers have since become our loyal clients.
